First let me say that I do not own Destiny or any of its affiliates. This was something I just decided to do on my own, I call it "Your Running The Wrong Way!!!!!"
This is probably my favorite picture I have done so far. This brings out my love for cartoons, Mainly adventure time.If you can't tell, the sword is real, but not in the picture. I had the most trouble trying to get the resolution to match, without me being to small or too big. In the end I thought the shadows, resolution, and mixture of real and cartoon looks great.
The reason I chose this design is because the fair is all about fun. When I think of fun, fireworks come to mind. Plus this year is 2014 so I incorporated that in there. The only difficulty I had was with filling the numbers with color, which I eventually found out.
My piece was inspired by my love for dogs and wolves, also I gave him four eyes because I wanted him to be a wolf "Guardian" of sorts. THe only problem i had was finding the right picture to use because many of the pictures were facing the wrong way or didn't look as nice and crisp.Another problem i came across was trying to match the texture of the wolf with the texture of the seagull. If I were to do this again I would make only one by myself so i didn't have to figure out how to make it work with someone elses.
Basically in this post, the wolf and snake are teaminng up and exploring the forest together. I give credit to Mark Brewer for the sneagle. Also I thank webodysseum.com, wallpaperdetails.com, and wallspick.com for the photos I used. I call this piece "Too Much Ethan" because..well there are too many of me to handle.I didn't really have much of an inspiration for this piece. I mainly just stuck the clones together in a school background. If I could go back and change anything I would change the setting because I believe i made a bad choice with the setting.
I created this by taking multiple pictures of myself without moving the camera at all. Then I mashed the pictures together and made a montage of myself. The only issue I faced was trying to cut myself out of the pictures and placing them correctly. Many of the photos made me look bigger than the master picture for some reason.Overall I love the picture and hope to do this again sometime. I call this piece "Eat me or suffer", i used the transform tool to make room for the teeth and eyes. This is composed of a fish mouth, pancakes, and eyes i found online. I also warped the eyes to make them dark red using the Hue alteration tool.I struggled mostly with the fact that the pancakes are not centered to it looks odd. I call this one "Delicious reflection", for this one i copied the apples and flipped them upside down, then i added a fog affect to create the illusion of a reflection. I had the most trouble getting rid of the extra bits of the apple photo. In this project they focused on the stamp tool and adding a color to a specific shape. I didn't have many problems except for making the frog look like part of the tongue and the shadow. I think it looks to cartoony and hope to fix it in the future.
