yup...
First off, my part one was the Lego block at the top. I was not able to take a picture because I forgot to bring in an object. I didn't have any problems but thought this was cool and didn't know this was an option for Photoshop. The whole theme is what I do on my free time, Xbox, play Destiny TM, and play with Legos.
Sooooo.....yeah this happened, this is a portrait I did of myself on an iPad. I think I did pretty well considering they are impossible to draw on. Basically, my inspiration was a cartoon version of myself that ended up being really creepy. The only trouble I had was with the mouth and trying to get the exact same colors when I exited the program. If I were to do this again I would definitely spend more time on the mouth.
First let me say that I do not own Destiny or any of its affiliates. This was something I just decided to do on my own, I call it "Your Running The Wrong Way!!!!!"
This is probably my favorite picture I have done so far. This brings out my love for cartoons, Mainly adventure time.If you can't tell, the sword is real, but not in the picture. I had the most trouble trying to get the resolution to match, without me being to small or too big. In the end I thought the shadows, resolution, and mixture of real and cartoon looks great.
The reason I chose this design is because the fair is all about fun. When I think of fun, fireworks come to mind. Plus this year is 2014 so I incorporated that in there. The only difficulty I had was with filling the numbers with color, which I eventually found out.
My piece was inspired by my love for dogs and wolves, also I gave him four eyes because I wanted him to be a wolf "Guardian" of sorts. THe only problem i had was finding the right picture to use because many of the pictures were facing the wrong way or didn't look as nice and crisp.Another problem i came across was trying to match the texture of the wolf with the texture of the seagull. If I were to do this again I would make only one by myself so i didn't have to figure out how to make it work with someone elses.
Basically in this post, the wolf and snake are teaminng up and exploring the forest together. I give credit to Mark Brewer for the sneagle. Also I thank webodysseum.com, wallpaperdetails.com, and wallspick.com for the photos I used. I call this piece "Too Much Ethan" because..well there are too many of me to handle.I didn't really have much of an inspiration for this piece. I mainly just stuck the clones together in a school background. If I could go back and change anything I would change the setting because I believe i made a bad choice with the setting.
I created this by taking multiple pictures of myself without moving the camera at all. Then I mashed the pictures together and made a montage of myself. The only issue I faced was trying to cut myself out of the pictures and placing them correctly. Many of the photos made me look bigger than the master picture for some reason.Overall I love the picture and hope to do this again sometime. |
